The Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has warned that God’s judgment is about to fall on wicked leaders in Nigeria, who covet to themselves what belongs to the general public and allow the people to die of hunger.

The BCS noted that the great tribulation much talked about seems to have come to reality following the economic hardship and hunger biting hard on citizens,

It stated this in a World Press Conference held in Abuja on Saturday ahead of an upcoming event in Calabar, Cross River State.

It warned that this is not the time to resort to violence or politicization of every issue but the time for all to come together and reflect on what binds all Nigerians together.

“You will accept with me that serious economic challenges have long been plaguing this country and other parts of the world,” BCS said at the press conference addressed by its spokesman, Shepherd Amah Williams.

“The times are hard and there is no doubt about that. The great tribulation much talked about seems to be already here. There seems to be no solution in sight.

“Nigeria is the physical abode of God and a nation after God’s heart, therefore, all those fanning the embers of disunity, violence and those who perpetrate corruption should know that the wrath of God shall soon come upon them.

“The tears and sufferings of ordinary citizens have risen to the Throne of God and no more shall God allow thieves and robbers to swindle the collective wealth of this nation with impunity.”
