QNET, a global leader in wellness and lifestyle focused direct selling, this week, was hosted by Covenant University (CU) to showcase the company’s latest wellness and lifestyle advancements.
The exclusive event, Amezcua Science Dialogue, which brought together experts to explore the scientific foundation behind the company’s Amezcua product range was organised by Covenant University and sponsored by QNET.
Held at Covenant University Centre for Research, Innovation and Discovery (CUCRID) in Ota, Ogun State on Tuesday with the
Theme: “Demystifying the Science Around QNET Products,” scientists from various fields of studies were on hand to explore the scientific foundation behind QNET’s Amezcua product range.
The keynote speaker, the former Vice Chancellor of the University and a member of QNET’s Scientific Advisory Board, Professor Abiodun Adebayo, made an insightful presentation of the science behind the veracity QNET’s product innovation and accompanied by some experiments were eye-opening to the students and others present at the event.
Prof. Adebayo reiterated the need for Nigerians to be conscious about their health status through the types of products they use, as they have direct and indirect effect on their lives. He commended QNET’s Amezcua product range which is a unique Harmonised Energy product line, designed to increase your body’s harmony and energy levels every day.
According to him, “We are always excited to identify with these kinds of accomplishments as a university, because it speaks to the quality of research that is conducted in the university, and we're excited about it because our students are exposed to the realities of the results of research.
“Our students have been doing several kinds of research around QNET products. So, there's a direct transfer of knowledge, there is the potential to create new products and there is impact for our community, and that's exactly what the university is set up for.
“Today, you will witness the reality of how researchers at Covenant University have validated the antimicrobial and energy-enhancing properties of structured water produced using QNET’s Amezcua Bio Disc 3. The outcome of the research at the Amezcua Science Dialogue highlighted the growing credibility of quantum energy-based technologies in addressing real-world challenges, particularly in water safety, nutrition, and sustainable living.”
Prof. Adebayo also commended the Amezcua product range, noting that the products have engaged some of the great wonders of nature in order to help humanity come back to its reality.
“We are all surrounded by natural forces here that we have not really explored. You may be wondering, why is it that we are currently having the life expectancy rate depleting? Recently, I was going through the life expectancy rate, particularly of some Africa countries. As I went through the list, Nigeria has one of the least life expectancy rates of 54,” he added.
In her remarks, Theodosia Naana Quartey, Head of Compliance ay QNET, appreciated the quality of partnership established between the company and Covenant University, stressing that the collaboration is a model for transparent, evidence-based science.
She said: “QNET is a company that has been in existence for 27 years and counting. One of the range of products we have to showcase is the Amescua range of products. The products range that is all about using science to benefit our daily lives.
“Listening to the immediate past Vice Chancellor, I think he believes strongly in local solutions, finding local solutions, and even if we are bringing any products from outside Africa, it has to be relevant for us in Africa, and that is what we sought to do with Professor Abiodun.”
Earlier in his welcome address, Covenant University Vice Chancellor, Professor Timothy Anake, expressed delight for the dialogue which he said, speaks to research, to product and validates what happens in a university setting and how it affects the products that we consume.
In his words: “I am very excited today about this gathering, because it's a gathering that validates essence of proven health and wellness products.
“Covenant University has, over 23 years shown quality, demonstrated commitment to solving local problems, and shown without doubt by the students who have become industry leaders and solution creators across Africa and the world.
“As far as the QNET organization is concerned, we are always excited to identify with these kinds of accomplishments as a university, because it speaks to the quality of research that is conducted in the university, and we're excited about it because our students are exposed to the realities of the results of research.”
At the event, two students of the university, Toluwanimi Afolayan and Lois Chiamaka Eze, featured presentations on the outcomes of the experiments on Bio Disc’s impact on traditional Nigerian beverages such as zobo, kunu, palm wine and tiger nut milk. Also, a Biotechnology student, Omonofa Samuel Adebayo, examined the Bio Disc’s application in aquaculture.
QNET’s wellness products spotlighted at the event are: the Bio Disc, BioLight, Chi Pendant, and e-Guard. They were explained to be complementary health innovations rooted in the emerging science of quantum biology and not substitutes for medical treatment.
